The Department of Death

An Icelandic stage production presented at Théâtre de Quat’Sous in Montreal from 9 March to 1 April 2027. A musician past his prime gets the chance to bring his late father back to life, but must cross an absurd, bureaucratic purgatory and pass three trials. It is a darkly comic and moving retelling of the Orpheus myth about death and our aging parents.
