Madeleine - Maxime Robin

An actress looks back on meeting a stage director and the pull between them, as her wish to be seen and recognized gradually blurs into the risk of losing herself. Maxime Robin reworks Hitchcock's Vertigo as a hybrid of intimate storytelling and a lesson in cinema, exploring how the gaze, desire and control operate. It plays in the Salle Jean-Claude-Germain at the Centre du Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui in Montreal from January 19 to February 6, 2027.
